Bounded on the East by six chains and sixty-seven links southerly along McDowall Street from its angle with Schaw Street; on the South by twelve chains and sixty-four links westerly along part of a grant to Patrick Wood; on the West by six chains and sixty-seven links northerly along Glebe Street to Schaw Street aforesaid; and thence on the North by twelve chains and sixty-four links easterly along that street to the point of commencement - 8 acres, 1 rood, 28 perches. January 5, 1855 - Deed of Grant enrolled and recorded to William Horne upon receipt of £65 duly paid to the Crown. (1)

May 18, 1858 - Edward Bowden (owner), grass paddocks, 57 acres, annual value £15 - [2-Nn], [2-Rr], [2-Ww]. (3)

Aft September 21, 1858 - Edward Bowden bequeathed the property to his wife Diana Bowden. Upon her death, to be bequeathed to their daughter, Eliza (Bowden) Warren. (4)

November 20, 1860 - George Goddard (occupier), Diana Bowden (owner), paddock, 10 acres, annual value £2 12s 6d. (5)

November 19, 1861 - George Goddard (occupier), Diana Bowden (owner), paddock, 10 acres, annual value £2 12s 6d. (6)

Aft November 28, 1866 - The property was transferred from the estate of Diana (Ayres) Bowden to her daughter, Eliza (Bowden) Warren. (4)

Aft February 19, 1870 - John Bale conveyed to Simon Arnett, but a conveyance has not been located. (1)

March 1, 1870 - Simon Arnett (owner), arable pastoral land, 16¾ acres, annual value £8 - includes [2-Gg2]. (5)

March 19, 1870 - Certificate of Title registered to Simon Arnett, a storekeeper living in Bothwell. (1)

March 19, 1878 - Simon Arnett (owner), paddocks, 16¾ acres, annual value £8 - includes [2-Gg2]. (6)

March 18, 1880 - Simon Arnett secured a £300 mortgage from Frederick Synnot against five properties being [1-H3], [1-I8.1], [1-A16], [2-Gg2], [2-Xx, Yy] under Mortage No 2313. Rate of interest £8 per centum per annum, payable half yearly on the 4th days of August and February. (1)

November 18, 1885 - Upon the death of Frederick Synnot, the mortgage of Simon Arnett and the Certificate of Title was transferred to the executors, William Nicholas, of Nant, and George William Fletcher, of New Town. (1)

February 16, 1886 - Simon Arnett (owner), paddock, 13 acres, annual value £5 10s. (7)

April 11, 1889 - The executors of Frederick Synnot endorsed the transfer of Mortgage No 2313 to the Perpetual Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of Tasmania Limited. (1)

January 14, 1890 - Simon Arnett (owner), land, 26 acres, annual value £8 - includes [1-H3], [1-A16], [2-Gg2]. (8)

February 19, 1895 - Simon Arnett (owner), land, 26 acres, annual value £8 - includes [1-H3], [1-A16], [2-Gg2]. (9)

July 28, 1916 - The Perpetual Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of Tasmania Limited conveyed to Robert Swindells part of [2-Xx] measuring 5 acres, 1 rood, 20 and 6/10ths of a perch, and [2-Yy] measuring 6 acres, 2 roods, 27 perches. (1)

August 10, 1916 - Certificate of Title registered to Robert Swindells, a labourer living in Bothwell. (10)

December 20, 1916 - The Perpetual Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of Tasmania Limited conveyed a portion of the land measuring 1 acre, 2 roods to His Majesty the King. (1)
