Bounded on the North by sixteen chains and twenty links easterly along Frances Street from its angle with McDowall Street; on the East by fifteen chains and twenty-two links southerly along Barr Street; on the South by sixteen chains and twenty links westerly along Adelaide Street to McDowall Street aforesaid; and thence on the West by fifteen chains and twenty-two links northerly along that street to the point of commencement - 24 acres, 2 roods, 24 perches. May 18, 1858 - Richard Allen (owner), land partly cultivated, 24 acres, annual value £10. (3)

August 13, 1862 - Deed of Grant enrolled and recorded to Richard Allen upon receipt of £74 duly paid to the Crown. (1)

November 15, 1864 - Richard Allen, (owner), partly cultivated land, annual value £10. (5)

February 26, 1867 - Richard Allen, (owner), partly cultivated land, annual value £10. (6)

March 19, 1878 - Richard Allen (owner), arable land, 41 acres, annual value £20 10s - [2-Bb3], [2-Mm], [2-Oo1]. (7)

November 27, 1882 - The property was transferred from the estate of Richard Allen to his son, Arthur Augustus Allen. (8)
