George Branch and Eliza Pegram had no children.

Abt 1817 - George Branch was born at Fyfield, Essex, England to Joseph Branch and Mary Unknown.
19 Feb 1839 - Quarter Sessions, Colchester, Essex, England. Convicted of house breaking - sentenced to 15 years transportation. Gaol Report - indifferent character. Stated this offence - "House breaking and stealing tools, prosecutor Mr Fitch, Stanford River. Single."
13 Jul 1839 - Departed from Portsmouth, Hampshire, England on board the Layton bound for Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Hulk Report - good.
8 Dec 1839 - Arrived in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Surgeon's Report - very orderly and useful.
Description upon arrival: Trade - farm labourer; Age - 24; Complexion - fresh; Head - long; Hair - red; Whiskers - none; Visage - long; Forehead - high; Eyebrows - red; Eyes - hazel; Nose - medium; Mouth - medium; Chin - broad; Remarks - Freckled arms and face; Native Place - Chelmsford, Essex, England.
1841 - Attended muster at South Esk, Tasmania, Australia; assigned to Captain Crear.
15 Dec 1846 - Ticket of Leave approved.
29 Jun 1847 - Recommended for a Conditional Pardon. There is no offence recorded against this man since his arrival in the Colony.
22 Aug 1848 - Conditional Pardon approved.

George Branch and his wife made application under the Licensing Act for a prohibition order against their son, Matthew Branch, which was granted.
14 Sep 1898 - George Branch married Eliza (Saxon) Pegram at Green Ponds according to the Customs of the Congregational Churches by Licence; witnessed by Jane E Kennedy and Isabelle Flexmore. George was aged 82, a bachelor and shepherd; Eliza was aged 77 and a widow.
