6 Apr 1885 - Witness at the marriage of George Broughton Sealy and Annie Marie Allen at St Luke's Church, Bothwell. (3)

16 Feb 1886 - [1-D1] Patrick St - Richard Allen & John Allen White (occupiers), Edward Bowden (owner), shop, annual value £2. (4)

16 Feb 1886 - Sherwood - Richard Allen & John Allen White (occupiers), John P Sherwin (owner), house, land, 2000 acres, annual value £450. (4)

NOTICE. The Partnership hitherto existing between John Allen White and Richard Allen, of Bothwell, as Farmers, Butchers, etc, and trading under the style of White & Allen, has this day been Dissolved by Mutual Consent, and it is requested that all Debts Due to the late Firm be at once Paid to Mr Thomas Perkins, of Bothwell, whose receipt for the same will be a sufficient discharge. Dated at Bothwell this 31st day of March, 1887. John Allen White & Richard Allen. Witness - Thomas Perkins. (5)

25 Jul 1889 - John married Florence Mary Hughes at the Holy Trinity Church, Launceston according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England by Licence; witnessed by Rosa Hughes, William Henry Sealy and J E Hughes. John was aged 25, a bachelor and merchant; Florence was aged 21 and a spinster. (7)

WHITE-HUGHES - On July 25, 1889, at Trinity Church, Launceston, by the Rev A Beresford, assisted by the Rev S Hughes, John Allen, eldest son of John White, Bothwell, to Florence Mary, third daughter of the late Stephen Hughes, of New Town. (8)

11 Oct 1889 - Juror at the inquest of Isaac Avery at the Police Office, Bothwell who came to his death by natural causes. (9)

8 Nov 1890 - Birth of his daughter Daisy Eugene White at Bothwell which he registered on 19 Dec 1890; occupation - storekeeper. (11)

8 Nov 1892 - Juror at the inquest of Dudley Cyril Blake at the Police Office, Bothwell who came to his death broken neck accidentally caused by the upsetting of a dray loaded with wood. (15)

2 Oct 1893 - John died from enteric fever and syncope at the age of 29 years at Bothwell. (16)
