April 27, 1840 - Departed from London, England on board the Asia bound for Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Hulk Report - orderly.

August 6, 1840 - Arrived at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Surgeon's Report - good.

The burial service was conducted by the Rev I G Morling on the remains of Mrs Luke Evans, a widow 72 years of age, whose funeral was also largely attended, she being a very old resident, having lived in the district for nearly 50 years.
